About the course

The course for those who want to enhance their ability to actively use the State's IT Project Model in government IT projects. The course provides a broad introduction to the State's IT Project Model, its phases, and facets. You will gain a solid understanding of the model, insight into its function and application, as well as an overview of roles and responsibilities.

The course is a one-day course with virtual attendance on the Microsoft Teams platform and a subsequent online written exam and exam certificate.

Course content

  • Why the State has an IT Project Model: The background of the model is explained, along with its function within the state IT project landscape and the benefits of all IT projects using the model.
  • Structure of the Model: A solid understanding of the model is built through a thorough introduction to its structure in phases, phase transitions, and the possibilities for agile development methods within the model. Additionally, the functions of the main documents; the Project Basis and the Business Case Basis are explained.
  • Roles and Responsibilities: You gain insight into the roles and responsibilities within the model.
  • Application, Risk Assessment, and Status Reporting to the IT Council: The guidelines and frameworks for implementing IT projects are illustrated. The risk assessment process and cooperation with the IT Council are reviewed.
  • Getting Started with the Model and IT Projects: It is discussed how best to start using the model in the authority's IT projects as a project manager, project participant, or other employees.

Participant profile

  • The course is aimed at those who need knowledge of the frameworks for implementing state IT projects. You might be a project manager, project participant, or work in support functions in a government agency such as Finance or PMO.

Sign up process

Remember to provide the 'EAN number' when registering.

A valid EAN number must be provided at the time of registration. We use the EAN number to invoice your authority for the course. If you do not know your authority's EAN number, you can get assistance from your HR or finance department. Without an EAN number, your registration will not be valid.

The current and updated prices and terms are listed on campus. The terms are determined by the framework agreement between Agency for Public Finance and Management and Implement Consulting Group and cannot be deviated from.

Certification and exam

The course fee includes an optional online exam (600 DKK) and an exam certificte. If you prefer to take no exams or only one exam, please inform kursus.staten@implement.dk when registering.

Cancellation

If you are enrolled in a course, you can freely cancel your registration up to 20 working days before the course starts.
For cancellations made 10-20 working days before the course starts, 50% of the course fee will be charged.
For cancellations made less than 10 working days before the course starts, 100% of the course fee will be charged.
In case of no-show without timely cancellation, 100% of the course fee will be charged.

Cancellations must be made in writing to the course administration at kursus.staten@implement.dk.
The email should include your full name as well as the title and start date of the course from which you wish to cancel
